You can never guarantee perfection in the result; that's out of your hands. What you can do is make your best effort, what we might call “perfect intention”. Perfect intention is perfect simply because it is the best it could be, at that moment. It includes making the leap when your heart tells you to do so.
There is no guarantee of a soft landing; there is no guarantee that your risk-taking will pay off the way you carefully calculated it. The results of your actions are not in your hands. What is certain is that if you wait to be sure of the results, your actions will come too late.
Focus on your intention; focus on the inhale before the leap.
Leap with your heart full.
“To become spring, means accepting the risk of winter.” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
